The President provides overall leadership and direction for BHARS and works closely with the Board of Directors and other leadership team members to ensure the organization remains focused on its mission, values, and strategic goals.
Responsibilities include:
Chairing Board meetings
Helping establish organizational priorities
Supporting effective governance
Overseeing the work of the leadership team
Acting as a senior representative of BHARS when appropriate.
The President helps ensure that decisions made by the organization are consistent with its bylaws, policies, and charitable purpose.
This is a key leadership position responsible for helping keep the organization moving forward while encouraging collaboration among the Board, volunteers, and program areas.
