Events Coordinator

The Events Coordinator is responsible for helping plan, organize, and execute BHARS events and activities, working under the direction of the Fundraising Director. This role helps turn event ideas into well-organized, successful events that support BHARS’s fundraising goals, community engagement, and overall mission.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with event planning and timelines
Coordinating venues, vendors, volunteers, supplies, equipment, and other logistical requirements
Help develop event concepts
Coordinate event-day activities
Communicate with participants and volunteers, and ensure that events run smoothly from preparation through completion
The Coordinator works closely with the Fundraising Director and other BHARS team members to ensure events are aligned with fundraising objectives, organizational standards, and available resources. They may also assist with event promotion, ticketing or registration, sponsorship opportunities, donations, and post-event follow-up.
This position requires strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills. The Events Coordinator plays an important role in creating successful events that not only generate financial support for BHARS, but also strengthen relationships with donors, volunteers, businesses, adopters, and the broader community.
