We’re looking for a Communication's Coordinator who can help us with all facets of how BHARS communicates with our followers, supporters, adopters, fosters, volunteers, and community. But there’s a catch…
We’re not just looking for someone who knows how to make a pretty post. We’re looking for someone who understands BHARS' mission. Someone who has been along for the ride, read our stories, followed our animals’ journeys, understands our humour, our heart, our sometimes-chaotic rescue life, and the way we connect with our community.
The ideal candidate can take this vibe and carry it forward from day to day, while helping us grow, improve, and build even stronger connections with the people who support what we do.
The Communication's Coordinator will help coordinate, create and manage content for all BHARS communicatiosn platforms, including:
Facebook
Instagram
TikTok
LinkedIn
Email communications
If you’re a strong communicator, creative, organized, social-media savvy, and you genuinely love what BHARS is all about, we’d love to hear from you.
Most importantly, we want someone who can look at a photo of a cat, know there’s a story behind those eyes, and somehow turn that story into words that make someone stop scrolling.
Why Volunteer with BHARS?
When you volunteer with BHARS, you’re not just giving your time — you’re helping give animals a second chance. As a growing rescue organization, every volunteer plays an important role in helping us expand our reach and save more lives. Whether you’re helping at an event, transporting animals, fundraising, fostering, or lending your unique skills, your time can change a life. Join our volunteer-powered community and be part of something meaningful — because for the animals we rescue, you can make all the difference.
