The Animal Care & Welfare Coordinator helps oversee the day-to-day care and welfare needs of animals within BHARS’s care.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring animal care standards
Sssisting caregivers and volunteers with care questions
Identifying concerns that require attention
Helping establish consistent care practices
Ensuring animals’ basic physical and behavioural needs are being addressed
This position plays an important role in maintaining consistent standards of care and identifying problems before they become more serious.
