I've been deeply involved in animal welfare causes for many years, always helping animals in need. I've spent time working with animals as small as mice, to as large as cows and horses, and am deeply passionate about the need to truly see animals as individuals worthy of self-determination. Through consistent messaging, and efforts, I hope to bring about meaningful changes to our animal welfare laws to protect all animals.

I have been involved in animal welfare for several years now, and with all sorts of different animals. The ultimate goal is to help further the long-term goal of Boomer's Haven obtaining more space to further our mission to help animals of any and all species. Our mission to create a stronger understanding of animal welfare concerns, engaging the public in the conversation, and sharing of knowledge, I hope to further strengthen the animal welfare laws within Alberta and beyond.

I have had a deep love for animals my whole life. I've often been the person people would reach out to, asking if we "wanted another cat". In 2017, I turned my love into action by volunteering for farm animal and companion animal rescues. My wish is to spread the love and compassion I have for animals to as many people as I can. The animals deserve to have as many people working on reducing cruelty as possible. I hope I can play a small part in making their lives better.

A life-long animal lover, I have been working consistently on animal welfare issues since 2006. My work has included being a shelter volunteer for domestic species, to doing humane education, wildlife rescue, and working at the legislative level to elevate the legal status of animals of all species. I am dedicated to improving how the law views, interacts with, and bases life-altering decisions about animals with whom we share our homes, our environment, and our industries, in which their treatment are well below lawful standards. I am hoping to continue my mission to improve the lives of all animals through the building strong relationships with partners as well as effectively meeting this organization's needs in its pursuit of excellence in animal care.
